I grew up outside of Vancouver and realized a little later in life that working in physiotherapy was for me! The journey to becoming a physiotherapist has been one of twists and turns; after working in immunology and cancer research, I shifted my career to youth services, working with at-risk youth to develop programs to promote activity, social engagement, and empowerment. A few injuries here and there, plus countless hours of self-reflection on my values and lived experience, I realized a career in physiotherapy was the lock to my key — a career that allows me to bridge health, research, and community in a meaningful way.

Pain and injuries can be complex, so I am committed to breaking down complicated information into simple chunks, to ensure understanding. Physiotherapy is a form of lifestyle coaching and should 100% be client centred, so by using an integrated approach that includes active listening, education, activity modification, client empowerment, and exercise, we can work together to reach your goals.

When I’m not at the gym or calisthenics park, you can find me in my spare time walking my dog, playing guitar, honing my craft as a home chef/bartender, and playing volleyball, spikeball, or table tennis.
